As I have some difficult areas to tackle in my figurehead model, I though it was time to do something different. So I chose to model the binnacle of HMS Victory. Plain geometry – something easy and rewarding… 😉

Fantastic! I like how the top can be removed so that I can detail the inside. I have been using microscope cover glass which in thickness is very close to scale. I purchased it online from Globe Scientific Inc item #1414-10.
Good idea with the cover glass! Was searching for something similar for all other windows, to. Will check it out!
